Template Challenge #2 - participation prize is...

...another FREE mini kit.  This mini kit is by KCs very own Peggy with Painted Ranch Designs.  The kit is called New Year. 

This is what you get for participating.



So, I couldn't figure out how to make layerd .png files for those who can't open psd, so once again, it's just a flattened .png file.  I am still looking into it, and if there is anyone out there who knows how to do this, please email me at parkermontage@gmail.com.  Until then, just try your hardest at using the template as a sketch. 

Once again, we are going to give you 2 weeks starting from today to make a layout using the included template.  Once you have your layout, upload it to the gallery, then link it to this forum for others to see and compliment you on.    Deadline for the challenge is January 19th. 

Make sure to include Template #2 somewhere in the title when saving.  Thanks!

To link your layout back to this forum, follow these simple instructions.  I usually open up 2 different windows to do this.

Right click on their layout that you uploaded to the gallery. Select properties then copy the location for the layout (it should end in jpg if you have the correct one). Then in the forum, select reply to the post (it can't be done in quick reply).  There is a little button that looks like a picture (insert image). Click on it then paste in the location for the layout. Then put in whatever else you want to add to the post and hit submit. The picture will show up in the body of the post.

I will PM everyone who participates and send them the link to download the FREE mini kit at the end of the challenge.

I will be writing up a tutorial sometime on how to create a basic LO in Gimp, which is freeware.  It may take a bit, and I might have to revert the set up to the presets so everything is in the exact same location and the screen shots will look right.
