I was really inspired recently by a blog hop challenge where I had to visit 10 different designers blogs to get 10 steps to follow to build a layout. It was so much fun I decided I wanted to do it again.
I am going to post 1 step every other day until I have posted all 10 steps. You can do each step as I post it (my favourite way) or you can wait until all 10 steps are posted and then do your layout all at once. It is really fun too see how different everyone's layouts are even though we'll all be following the same steps.
Step 1 - Select a base for your layout. It
CANNOT be a plain square sheet of cardstock. Try chipboard, corrugated cardboard, cork board ... If you want to use cardstock alter it in some way. Paint it, stamp it, distress it ... Anything goes except plain cardstock.
Step 2 - Select 2 pieces of complimentary pp to layer on your base. They may be any size and any shape. Ink or distress the edges of one or both.
Step 3 - Select 2 or 3 photos. One should be a 4"x6" and the other(s) can be any size.
Step 4 - Mat at least 1 of your photos.
Step 5 - Layer photos over pp from step 2.
Step 6 - Stamp somewhere on your layout.
Step 7 - Add a ribbon element to your layout.
Step 8 - Add at least 3 flowers or stars.
Step 9 - Add at least 2 other embellies.
Step 10 - Add a title to your layout.
